The Ride the Bayhorse ATV is an annual event starting Friday evening at the Yankee Fork Interpretive Center. The ride itself begins Saturday with open trail riding available with volunteer guides all day Sunday. Motorcycles and UTV’s 50’ and under are welcome.
The festivities begin on Friday with the ice cream social meet-and-greet event, which is held at the Land of the Yankee Fork Interpretive Center from 6 – 8 p.m. This event features live music. An ATV safety course is offered on Friday as well. The ride to Bayhorse itself begins Saturday morning. Participants assemble at the Interpretive Center and head towards Bayhorse at 10 a.m. with lunch is available at the townsite. A dinner and raffle also occurs Saturday night.
Open trail riding for exploring with volunteer guides is on Sunday. Idaho residents can purchase their annual State Park Passports at their local Department of Motor Vehicles for $10, or a $5 pass per day per vehicle. Information and trail maps are available at the Land of the Yankee Fork State Park. The event is in cooperation with IDPR, BLM, and USFS.
