Gallery 12  is a band of twelve artists (sometimes 13, because they often embrace the idea of a baker’s dozen) working in a variety of styles and mediums. They don’t have the traditional four walls most galleries call their own; instead, they display in galleries or museums across Idaho, Montana, and Utah.

The variety of their subject matter, trending from abstract design to traditional landscape delights the art lover and collector alike. Several of the members paint and sculpt wildlife or animals. Perhaps your taste runs to more unusual subjects and a collage, abstract or sculpture fits your taste. Within Gallery 12 you’ll find your perfect piece—or you can commission an artist to produce it. 

Many of the members are award-winning artists who have garnered national awards. Some are workshop instructors who share their knowledge with beginners to foster the important next generation of painters and sculptors. All are professional artists.

In these decidedly uncertain times, it is important to retain a sense of the beauty in the world around us. It is also important to instill the appreciation of art in the next generation. The artists of Gallery 12 strive to give the viewing public an eclectic selection of artwork hoping that the perfect piece will resonate with an appreciative viewer. Gallery 12 is honored to be showing at the Mad Dog Gallery in Challis and hopes that all art enthusiasts will find their way to the show and sale during the exhibition. Enjoy!
