Please join the Challis Field Office and the Idaho Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers for National Public Lands Day at Summit Creek Recreation Site and Area of Critical Environmental Concern. For this year’s project, we will be installing fencing to protect the sensitive riparian area, replacing picnic tables, and installing new fire rings. A complimentary lunch will be provided along with a free t-shirt and entrance coupon into any National Park.

Summit Creek Recreation Site is located off Custer Road, approximately 35 miles south of May, Idaho or 42 miles north of Howe, Idaho in the Pahsimeroi Valley.
