The CHALLIS COMMUNITY FARMERS MARKET (CCFM)
is a venue where local farmers and producers can market their products
to community residents and visitors. The Market upholds the age-old tradition of allowing the consumer to meet the producer while encouraging the production and consumption of locally produced agricultural products and craft items. The Market is more than just a place of business. It provides a mutually beneficial and sustainable community activity. As such, it is designed and operated to promote local ecological, social, and economic sustainability. The Market is operated by its members through the not-for-profit Challis Community Farmers Market Association Inc.
A Management Team, elected annually by the vendor membership,
governs the Association. The Association reserves the right to regulate
both vendors and products to ensure compliance with the Association’s vision and rules as well as all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
