The Mountain Village Resort is located on one of the two main roads coming into tiny Stanley (which, by the way, is one of the gems of the world). You can walk anywhere in town from the resort. The rooms are functional–most people use them for a night before or after a raft trip–but I want to note that the mattresses in our room were extremely firm. They felt new and high quality.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and we had another great stay! Rooms are clean, comfortable and upgraded. Staff was helpful and location is convenient to everything. We enjoyed the restaurant and saloon. Big shout out to Carrie who was our server and just fabulous! We also enjoyed the hot springs where the view is incredible!

We spent two nights at the Mountain Village Resort before going on a rafting trip. The building looks like a motel but the room was very nice, quite spacious, clean, and everything looked new.
