This week we’re highlighting the Custer Economic Development Association (CEDA) — the organization behind the Challis Community Events Center!

CEDA is dedicated to supporting local businesses, creating new opportunities, and promoting sustainable growth throughout Custer County. Their mission is all about building a stronger future for our community — and one way they do that is by managing the Challis Community Events Center.

The Events Center serves as a gathering place for the community, hosting meetings, fundraisers, and events of all kinds. It’s a hub of connection and collaboration, helping make Challis a wonderful place to live, work, and visit.

Thank you to CEDA for your continued investment in our community and for providing such a valuable space for local events!

Get ready for a fun and festive afternoon! Join us ✨ TODAY ✨ from 3–5 PM for Main Street Trick-or-Treating, hosted by the Challis Area Chamber of Commerce!

Local businesses will be handing out candy and treats all along Main Street! 🍬 It’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween safely while showing some love to our local shops and community!

A few other non-Main-Street shops in town will also be participating — please travel safely if you choose to stop by!

The Challis Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the new ownership of Round Valley Supply — congratulations to Matt and Morgan Wheeler!

Morgan, a Challis native, and Matt, originally from Aberdeen, are both University of Idaho graduates. Matt holds a degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management and works for the U.S. Forest Service, while Morgan earned her degree in Business Management with minors in Marketing and Accounting.

Morgan has long been part of the Round Valley Supply family, working there both before and after the Wheelers returned to Challis. With her background in farming and her connection to the local community, she’s always enjoyed helping customers and sharing knowledge.

After years of dedication and planning, the Wheelers are proud to carry on the legacy of Round Valley Supply and continue serving the community they love.

Please join us in welcoming Matt and Morgan as the new owners of this long-standing local business!
