The City of Challis has partnered with the Challis

The City of Challis has partnered with the Challis Community Trails Alliance (CCTA) to seek funding through the Recreational Trails Program Grant administered by the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. Funding is being sought for four items, three cement vault toilets and to acquire contract service to chip seal the city's asphalt walking path.

Locations of these items are:
1. Round Valley Trailhead Vault Toilet, which is part of the Challis Foothills Trail System, geographic location is 44.4922N, -114. 2232 W off the Dump Road.
2. Blue Mountain Trailhead Vault Toilet, which is part of the Challis Foothills Trail System, geographic location is 44. 4897N, -114. 2333 W off the Dump Road.
3. Golf Course Walking Path mid-point Vault Toilet, city only paved walking path bordering the City golf course. Geographic location is 44.4968N, -114.2401W.
4. Challis Golf Course Walking Path Chip Seal, which borders the golf course on the south side running between Golf Club Lane and Emily Lane for .9 mile. Geographic location is 44.4968 N, -114.2401W.
