We’re excited to welcome the River of No Return Chapter of Trout Unlimited (RNRTU) as a new member of the Challis Area Chamber of Commerce!

RNRTU serves the communities of Salmon, North Fork, Challis, and Stanley, working throughout the upper Salmon River basin. Their mission is rooted in community-driven restoration, youth education, and ongoing salmon recovery efforts that make a lasting impact across the Columbia Basin.

We’re grateful to have an organization so dedicated to the health of our rivers, the future of our fisheries, and hands-on education for the next generation.

Get ready for a full day of festive fun in Challis! Shop Hop kicks off ✨ THIS SATURDAY ✨ December 13th with local businesses offering specials, treats, giveaways, and holiday cheer at every stop. Pick up your Shop Hop punch card at any participating location, visit each business to get your card punched, and turn it in at the end for a chance to win great prizes!

Don’t forget 🎅 we have Photos with Santa from 12-2 PM at the CusterTel cottage, 🖌️ a kids craft at the library from 2-3 PM, plus ☕️ food/drink specials at the Village and the Roadhouse during the event!

Make a day of it — shop small, shop local, and enjoy the magic of the holiday season in Challis. See you Saturday!

Hello everyone! I am Sabina Bennetts and It was my Senior Project to build and make Welcome to Challis Signs. I have wanted to do this project for a very long time and my dream has finally came true! I did this project because I wanted to give something to this amazing community, I am so prideful of this town! Although I hope you find this as a gift, it wouldn't have been possible without the help and donations, from many people, and companies around town. There are some final details I would still like to tune up, but I would love to hear everybody's thoughts!

The 2025 Parade of Lights, hosted by Frontier Credit Union, kicks off TONIGHT at 6 PM on Main Street! Bundle up, grab a hot cocoa, and enjoy this year’s magical “Christmas Carols” theme as the floats roll by. 🎶🚗💡

And don’t head home after — the annual Christmas Concert will take place immediately following the parade at the Challis Middle School Auditorium. It’s the perfect way to keep the holiday spirit going! 🎼🎄
